About Us
Hi I'm Reece the owner of Datchworth Dog walks! I have been around dogs all of my life coming from a family of dog lovers! We've always had plenty of dogs around such as; Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Spaniels, Vizslas and Whippets, to name a few! This has all been such valuable experience when working with dogs as I know the importance of knowing how dogs may behave and need to be looked after, based on their breed. My core principles are that when I walk your dog I am in control and it is safe. I will always tailor my walks to the specific dog to ensure i can achieve this. I'm also always looking to reinforce good behaviour through reward. Be it a tasty, healthy treat or lots of praise and cuddles!
DBS checked, fully insured, courses completed in: Dog First aid, Dog training and Dog care.
Our Services & Prices
- Solo walks: 30 mins (£15) , 1 hour (£18) , 1 hour 30 mins (£25) and 2 hours (£35)
- Small group walks. 2-4 dogs. (£15 for 1 hour walk)
- Weekend wander- a longer walk at the weekend usually with our whippet! (£30)
- Pet visits- 30 mins. (£12)
Where we walk
I live in Datchworth, Hertfordshire and offer my services to the following areas (mainly!): Ayot, Bramfield, Burnham Green, Codicote, Datchworth, Digswell, Old Knebworth, Knebworth, Stapleford, Tewin, Waterford, Watton-at-Stone, Woolmer Green, Welwyn, Welwyn Garden city, If you live close to these areas please don't hesitate to enquire! I currently do walk in St.Albans and Stevenage as well.
I have very good knowledge of walks around Hertfordshire having explored many routes with my Whippet, Toby! This helps me pick local routes that will be safe and fun for your dog! I tend to trial possible routes with Toby prior to taking your dog, to ensure it is dog friendly!
